Bridget’s Pasta Figiola Soup Mix
Now that’s Italian. Pasta Figiola Soup is a fine blend of beans and pasta that taste as good as it gets. Sprinkle in a fine cheese and butter up some hot rolls and you got a great lunch for a cool day. Makes 6 cups.

DIRECTIONS: Bring 6 cups of water to a rolling boil. With a wire whisk, whisk in soup mix. Cover and continue to boil 15-20 minutes, or until pasta is desired softness, stirring occasionally. Salt and pepper to taste. (Pan should remain covered during cooking to cook noodles thoroughly and to prevent evaporation.)
CROCKPOT: Start with 6 cups of hot water, whisk in the soup mix, and then add your cook ed meat if you so desire. Cook on low for at least 1 1/2 hours.
FOR 3 to 4 SERVINGS: Shake bag and divide contents in half. Prepare as directed using half the water.
FOR VARIETY: Add cooked Italian sausage, ground beef, or beef.
